The Golf Course
The glory of the Renaissance Club is a championship course brilliantly designed by renown links course designer Tom Doak to fit the contours of historic coastal linksland.
The course is situated on 300 acres in East Lothian Scotland along the Firth of Forth – an area known as the Golf Coast of Scotland, with notable neighbours including the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (also known as Muirfield), North Berwick West Links, Gullane Golf Club, Luffness New, and several other historic links courses within 15 minutes of the Renaissance Club front gate.
It opened in 2008 as a par 71, measuring 7398 yards and in 2012, as part of a land swap with Muirfield, it was rerouted into the par 71, 7348 yard Championship course that exists today. The original opening holes now are configured as one of the top-level practice facilities in all of Scotland.
